Santa baby

Just finished a Santa set for my aunt :) I wanted to share, even though it's not for sale, and I took the photos on my ugly oatmeal rug.
- on a side note I just found out that I have to download the app to upload any pictures from my phone.

Green streak

I'm overly obsessed with green this week. I've made an adult sized hood,in Olive green and Teal and its Super Freaking fuzzy! Which is my favorite kind of crochet! Made with 9(!!) Skeins of  olive eyelash yarn and 1 skein of teal. It's tied together with a ribbon to keep it close to you while the winter winds try to blow it off!

Green Gloves

I have a new favorite stitch this week, called the brick stitch and I decided to make some really warm gloves using a G hook and Manos del Uruguay Wool Classica Yarn. Which Is an awesome brand, that is a non profit organization, that aims to bring economic and social opportunities to rural women. This yarn is Hand spun and kettle dyed, so you get some awesome variegated colors throughout the lot. I used color 55, which I'm calling Poison Ivy green.
This is the result of my restless hands

.Fingerless Gloves

Hi there! My names Christiana, I'm A 24 year old Baker/Crocheter/Artsy fartsy person. I've been doing odd jobs (such as dressing up like the statue of liberty and waving to strangers in the cold) since I was legal to work. Recently, I decided that I needed to do something I loved, on top of the (very boring ) administrative work I do now and here I am:) I'll be posting recipes, crochet I have for sale and maybe, if I can keep track of what I'm doing, I'll even post patterns!
You'll Probably be subjected to pictures of my fuzzy babies, Tofu and Sushi(the cats) and Yoshi and Saki (the skinny/almost hairless, guinea pigs) And my fiance, who weather or not he knows it, will be helping me edit and keep up with myself, while on our journey to marriagehood.
Its been over five years since I've written anything. Maybe,  just maybe, if I drink enough before I start typing, I'll get nostalgic and post some horrible angsty poetry for everyone to make fun of with me :)
